Chief Operating Officer - Ambient Foods

Sherif El Nokaly joined Americana Foods in December 2019 and is the Chief Operating Officer for the Ambient Foods category. Prior to his current appointment, Sherif served as the VP Commercial for Snacks and Canned Food in Egypt, leading and driving the business’s commercial activities. In his role, Sherif spearheads the growth strategy for the Ambient Foods portfolio in Egypt — overseeing the Snacks Business, Beefy, and ECC — with a clear focus on strengthening market leadership, driving portfolio innovation, and enhancing operational excellence.

Sherif’s background is marked by significant roles in leading multinational companies. His experience spans Henkel Egypt, L’Oréal Egypt, and P&G KSA, culminating in a notable position on the MENAPT SC Johnson Leadership team as the Commercial Head for North Africa & Levant. Sherif is characterized by his ability to steer business turnarounds and route-to-market re-engineering, enabling the realization of productivities and efficiencies.

Sherif holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Accounting from Ain Shams University.
