Mohamed Ramzy Faruk

Chief Operating Officer - Protein

Mohamed Ramzy Faruk joined Americana Foods in February 2018 and is the Chief Operating Officer for the Protein category.

In his role, Mohamed leads the end-to-end Protein category (Frozen Processed Poultry, Beef and Seafood portfolio) across the GCC, overseeing the commercial, marketing, procurement, R&D, manufacturing and QHSE Functions.

Prior to Americana Foods, Mohamed served as Finance Director at Colgate Palmolive for North Africa Middle East playing a key role in setting up a greenfield regional hub while providing strategic finance support to more than 10 markets. He also served other leading regional FMCG companies such as Savola and Olayan for more than a decade.

Mohamed is a qualified Management Accountant and is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in UK. He also holds a qualification with AAT (UK).
