Chief Operating Officer - Fruits and Vegetables

Mohamed Safwat Moustafa joined Americana Foods in April 2017 and is the Chief Operating Officer for the Fruits and Vegetables category. In his role, Mohamed oversees the end-to-end Frozen Fruits and Vegetables category (Frozen French Fries, Vegetables and Frozen Fruits) managing the commercial, marketing, procurement, R&D, agriculture, manufacturing and QHSE Functions. Mohamed manages two stand-alone companies: Farm Frites, a JV with Farm Frites International, one of the largest global French Fries processors in the world and ICAPP, a B2B Frozen Fruits and Vegetables business catering to global customers.

Prior to this, Mohamed served as the Chief Supply Chain Officer for Americana Foods, driving the sourcing strategy for raw and packaging material pan categories and overseeing the operation of 19 production sites, warehousing, logistics and distribution centers across the GCC and Egypt. Before joining Americana Foods, Mohamed served in various supply chain leadership positions at Mondelez.

Mohamed holds an Executive MBA in Global Supply Chain from the University of Tennessee and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the American University in Cairo.
